I have been in the medical industry for over 20 years. I am truly passionate about health and wellness. My experience in the healthcare and wellness space has convinced me the most important step for promoting wellness is patient education. Providing education on the functionality of the human body, truly understanding how the body is designed, and then harnessing this functionality to stimulate your body to do what it is naturally designed to do! 

I am often asked why I started LeHeal Biogenix. Why? Because I believe in it! 

The journey to starting LeHeal Biogenix was a personal one. I was always an active person. I recognized that my daily runs were as important for my physical health as they were for my mental health. I am a mother of two boys and have always cherished the ability to join them in physical activities. Everything changed for me when I injured my left knee, a meniscus tear.   

Anyone who has experienced joint pain knows how debilitating it can be. The pain takes you away from your daily routine, activities you are passionate about, and your overall quality of life. This in turn impacts your loved ones and those around you. I was no longer able to run like I had grown accustomed to. I could not join my children in many activities. The pain was limiting my ability to take part in what I loved so much; it was devastating. Furthermore, the pain was getting worse.  Because of the injury to my left knee, my overall stance was off which was causing pain in my right hip. I needed to find a solution. 

Through my research, I found the most common treatments for injuries and joint pain include steroids, surgery, physical therapy, and pain medication. I wasn’t interested in any of these options. Then, I found information on regenerative medicine. Regenerative medicine is the process of replacing or regenerating human cells to restore and establish normal functions. This made perfect sense to me… harnessing your body’s own healing powers to recover.  

The more research I did on Regenerative medicine, the more I was convinced this was the best option for me. However, finding a medical provider locally to provide the service was somewhat disappointing. I contacted a number of locations advertising the service and completed a few consultations. I was often surprised on the lack of information I would receive and learned the services were very expensive. Repeatedly, I was receiving quotes higher than I initially expected. While so many people could benefit from this service, it was clear that not everyone could afford it.  

This experience motivated the development of LeHeal Biogenix. I wanted to build a model that would provide affordable options for patients and to develop a practice specialized in treatment modalities outside of the traditional medicine approach – nonsurgical approach to healing!  

To test the model and the approach, I was the first patient. After my treatment at LeHeal Biogenix, I had amazing results! While, on average, it takes up to six months for full results, I was able to run again after only five weeks. My progress and activity level over the first six months continued to improve. I was back at the gym and was back to activities with my boys; I was no longer standing on the sidelines. I was back to what I love! 

That is how we measure our success at LeHeal Biogenix. As part of a patient’s initial intake, we not only examine the injury and devise a treatment plan. We want to know how this will improve their quality of life. How we can help get them back to what they love!
